About Steven Larsen, Proprietor |
| Owner-operator Steven Larsen purchased Gunnings House of Hobbies in 1987, after he came into the store and found himself enchanted with the history and diversity of clientele. Now, twenty years later, Steve says that his favorite aspect of running the business is talking to and helping customers find exactly what they want - be they hobby veterans or newcomers.
Now 60, Steve has been involved in hobbies since he was around the age of five with his interests spanning trains, models, remote control and collectibles such as antique Japanese swords and toy soldiers. In the following years, he traversed the world, meeting like-minded collectors. He has since brought this breadth of knowledge and experience to the store in the form of whole purchased collections, rare individual items and, of course, the very latest and most sought-after products new to the hobby and collectible market. |
